INDIRECT TECHNIQUES: WHY AND HOW TO INTEGRATE THEM INTO CLINICAL PRACTICE
Doris will explain the seminal influence of Milton Erickson on modern psychotherapies, such as Narrative Therapy, NLP, Family Therapy, Guided Imagery and Brief Therapy. Learn how to develop and integrate indirect techniques into your clinical setting.
HYPNOSIS AND METAPHORS
Metaphors and suggestion are integral to counselling and psychotherapy. Learn how to construct and utilise metaphors in your clinical work. Learn how the effectiveness of metaphors and story-telling can be enhanced when used in conjunction with clinical hypnosis.

PSYCHOLOGICAL ISSUES IN MEDICINE, PAIN MANAGEMENT AND MIND-BODY HEALING
Mental health practitioners and psychologists in particular, are aware of the relationship between psychological and physiological processes in human wellbeing. There is a significant body of evidence- based research and clinical studies into the specific effects on health and wellbeing resulting from the use of suggestion and imagery utilised as part of clinical hypnosis. In this workshop Doris will introduce you to research with clinical hypnosis and mind-body healing and give you training in specific clinical skills.
